Autumn is one of my favourite seasons of the year. It’s the time for comfy layered clothes, cosy candlelit rooms, orange crisp leaves fallen from the trees, hot chocolates under blankets in front of the fire and of course HALLOWEEN!
I love changing up my bedroom seasonally and redesigning it regularly. Since I was 13 years old I’ve been playing sims and designing houses, parks and community buildings. I just love interior design so I thought that I would share with you my tips on how to switch up your room and make it super warm and cosy for Autumn but all at an affordable cost.
I hope that you enjoy this blog post which is something a little different for me! Let me know what you think of my new bedroom!
A quick overview of my new bedroom:
Candles really help to set the seasonal mood and provide your bedroom with a calm aura. I love getting back to my bedroom after a busy day and relaxing with some seasonally scented candles.
The white pumpkin candle is from one of my favourite homeware shops Homesense. The three orange tea lights are salted caramel ones from Yankee and the big three wick orange candle is a vanilla pumpkin candle from Bath and body works!
Flowers, smellies and seasonal decorations
I love flowers and diffusers at all times of the year but especially when it’s Autumn/Winter as they provide a cosy and musky scent which instantly makes me feel relaxed and in the mood to get cosy.
Blankets, rugs and fluffy pillows
I don’t know about you but in Autumn I just love snuggling up in a cosy blanket with a fluffy pillow and sipping on hot chocolate or a seasonal coffee whilst watching the latest tv series.
Autumn is one of my favourite seasons for getting cosy and blankers are essential for this!
